	General



		A Solid Cruiser Built for extensive cruising and long-term live-aboard comfort, the Island Packet 45 has been designed to ABS offshore standards for safety and reliability. All sail control lines for the standard cutter rig are led aft to the cockpit, and the inherent easy motion and enhanced steering qualities of the long-keel hull form provide exceptional stability and superior seakindliness while protecting the propeller and rudder. The interior, with its two staterooms, two heads, large separate navigation station, and commodious storage areas makes for extremely comfortable and practical accommodations. A large investment in time and capital was made to ensure everything was onboard for comfortable, safe, extended offshore cruising
